What Are CAF Patient Incentive Awards?  

DID YOU KNOW…?

CAF’s advocacy efforts resulted in the establishment of the Thalassemia Clinical Research Network (TCRN).

2009-2010 Patient Incentive Awards are available to thalassemia patients currently enrolled in  college/university studies (undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate) and to students enrolled in certificate study programs. 

The due date for completed applications will be December 31, 2009Applications received after this date will not be considered.

A.  $5 million

The answer is:

C. $25 million.

 

CAF’s efforts resulted in $25 million being awarded to the TCRN to conduct research and develop protocols to aid the thalassemia community.
