Port Washington OSIA Lodge Schedules Opera Program and Art Sale for CAF
March 1, 2010 – Beautiful voices and beautiful art come together to help those with thalassemia, thanks to our friends at the John Michael Marino Lodge #1389 of OSIA (Order Sons of Italy in America).
The Lodge will hold an “Opera Program and Art Sale” on Sunday, April 11, starting at 12:00 noon at the Port Washington Yacht Club. The New York Grand Opera Company, with conductor Vincent LaSelva, will perform, and art from Marlin Art will be sold, in order to raise funds to fight thalassemia. (Samples of the New York Grand Opera Company in performance can be heard by clicking here.)
The cost for luncheon and entertainment is $55.00. Reservations can be made by contacting Nettie Innella at (516) 883-2209 or Mary Zaccheo at (516) 944-0784.
