Parents Conference Call on Bone Marrow Transplantation on August 24
August 3, 2010 – The next Parents’ Conference Call with CAF Social Worker Kathleen Durst is scheduled for Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. (EST) and will focus on Bone Marrow Transplantation (BMT).
TAG (Thalassemia Action Group) President Laurice Levine will join Kathleen to explain the process and issues surrounding this intervention.
These regularly scheduled calls are an excellent way for parents in the thalassemia community to ask questions, seek advice or share successes with other parents.
