OSIA DIne-Around Raises Funds for CAF
April 23, 2010 – The wonderful folks of the New York State Grand Lodge of OSIA (Order Sons of Italy in America) once again demonstrated their commitment to the fight against thalassemia by raising more than $20,000 at their 12th Annual Culinary Classico “Year 2010 Dine Around” on April 6.
A large crowd came out to sample delicious dishes from some of Long Island’s finest restaurants and to spend a wonderful evening with some of the most large hearted folk around. A grand total of $21,059 was raised, which will be added to other donations raised by OSIA’s brothers and sisters in their steadfast quest to help CAF end thalassemia.
