Motorcyclists Ride for Nicholas at the Iron Ride Poker Run

October 10, 2018 – This past Saturday, a group of caring motorcyclists and families came together for the Iron Ride Poker Run in honor of Nicholas, an amazing 3-year-old boy with thalassemia. Riders followed a scenic trail in Ewing, NJ, collecting playing cards along the way. Once they reached Charter Farms, the winning poker hand was revealed and the winner, Richie Tisone, generously donated his winnings to CAF. HJ Stout, who won the 50/50 raffle, also chose to donate his prize to the Foundation. Thank you, both!
We also thank Harry and Dena Stout of Stout’s Transportation for hosting the ride send-off and for providing a delicious lunch, and Artie’s Bar and Grill and The Ships Inn Restaurant for hosting the stops. A very special thanks goes to Andrea and Shawn for organizing this event and rallying the community. Finally, we want to give a huge thank you to everyone who participated and helped raise a total of $1,400 for the Foundation.
