CAF Presentations at Symposium
October 28, 2009 – The 9th Cooley’s Anemia Symposium, held by CAF in conjunction with the New York Academy of Sciences October 21-24, was an invigorating experience, details of which will be forthcoming. CAF itself supplied two posters and a “Data Blitz” presentation on subjects of interest to the thalassemia patient community.

The two posters were entitled “Patient Perceptions of the Value of Thalassemia Treatment Centers (TTCs)” and “Exploring Barriers and Facilitators to Treatment Adherence Among People with Thalassemia and Their Caregivers Through Focus Groups.” A pdf of the first poster can be downloaded by clicking here, and a pdf of the second can be downloaded by clicking here.
