CAF is always looking for volunteers who want to make sure we have the resources to meet our goals and push for better care and a cure for thalassemia! Alyssa will be happy to talk with you about the many ways in which any individual can help.

“The best birthday gift I can receive this year is your donation to this cause,” says Jean on the Facebook page she has set up to receive donations. (Click here to access that page or to make a donation in honor of Jean’s birthday.)

Jean is an active and valuable member of CAF’s Chicago area chapter who has long been a supporter of CAF and our fight against thalassemia. She is raising funds because of her belief in the value of CAF’s activities, especially its commitment to medical research and to pushing for a cure.

CAF thanks Jean for her generosity and dedication. It is because of caring and creative individuals such as Jean that CAF is able to maintain its programs and to continue to advance the cause of thalassemia.
