CAF Board Member Cammie Brandofino to Be Honored at Garibaldi-Meucci Brunch
October 17, 2013 – Cammie Brandofino, a current Board member of CAF and former Vice President of the Staten Island chapter, will be honored at the Garibaldi-Meucci Museum’s 25th Annual Fundraising Brunch on November 16. The event runs from 1:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at LiGreci’s Staaten.
In addition to Cammie Brandofino, honorees will include Salvatore and Marjorie Moschella, editor and co-editor of The Golden Lion, the official newsletter of the New York State Order Sons of Italy in America, and the late Janet Grillo, Education Director of the Garibaldi-Meucci Museum.
Tickets for the brunch are $65. Following the brunch at 2:00 p.m., the public is invited back to the museum for a champagne toast to celebrate the restoration the pillars at the main entrance to the museum and the historic candle vat where Giuseppe Garibaldi worked alongside his host, Antonio Meucci during his exile from Italy in 1850.
