9th Cooley’s Anemia Symposium Subject of Latest Annals of NYAS
August 30, 2010 – The August, 2010 issue of the Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences (NYAS) is a record of the CAF-sponsored 9th Cooley’s Anemia Symposium held October 21-24, 2009 in New York City.
Held in collaboration with NYAS, this important event brought together thalassemia experts from across the globe to share information on major advances in thalassemia care and research and to highlight future directions and possibilities. The Symposium was organzied by Elliott Vichinsky, MD, Children’s Hospital Oakland; Ellis Neufeld, Md, PhD, Children’s Hospital Boston; Kathy Granger, PhD, NYAS; and Gina Cioffi, Esq., CAF.
