Video Walking
March 20, 2013 – If you’re a regular visitor to this site or to the CAF Facebook page, then you already know that Care Walk 2013 is happening on May 5.
(Don’t know what Care Walk is? It’s our awesome annual fundraising event and opportunity to bring together the thalassemia community and its supporters around the country. Care Walk is unique because it offers you flexibility: you may participate in an already organized Walk or you may determine where you want to walk and plan an event that works for you. You determine what your Care Walk route will be (around a lake, park, etc.) and who is involved (just yourself and a few friends or a large group of people) or you can see a list of organized walks (click here) to see if one is near you. And click here if you want to register or support someone who’s walking.)
Care Walk is a really great experience and it’s so incredibly easy to do.
But all this that I’ve said can be found at other places on the site. This blog post is really just a chance to show a couple of short, fun music videos that we created recently about Care Walk. Each one’s only 40-45 seconds, and they’re a good way to boost your spirits. So take a minute and enjoy! (And then maybe go sign up for a Walk or support someone else who’s walking! Not that I’m hinting or anything…)
