September 29 Webinar Will Focus on Clinical Trials

September 14, 2015 – The FDA (Food and Drug Administration) Office of Minority Health is holding a special webinar on Tuesday, September 29, entitled “Get to Know ClinicalTrials.Gov.” The webinar, which will run from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon (EDT) is intended to explain what a person can expect to find on ClinicalTrials.gov and how to find a clinical trail that interests a particular person.

Rebecca Williams, Assistant Director of ClinicalTrials.gov, will be the featured speaker for the webinar. She will use sickle cell disease as an example, but the information presented is applicable for other diseases and disorders.

The webinar will include a Q&A at the end. Rebecca Williams and Dr. Jonca Bull, Assistant Commissioner of the FDA Office of Minority Health will be on hand to take questions.
