Patient Incentive Awards Available
September 23, 2008 – The Cooley’s Anemia Foundation announces that it is accepting applications for its 2008-2009 Patient Incentive Awards.
Any thalassemia major or intermedia patient pursuing higher education who is a U.S. resident can apply for one of these awards, which range from $250 reimbursement for students in certificate programs to up to $2,000 for students enrolled in MD, PhD or JD programs. Completed applications for the current 2008-2009 school year must be submitted no later than December 31, 2008, with the awards announced in February, 2009. (Please note that incomplete applications or those that do not follow the required guidelines will not be considered.)
