NYS OSIA Dine Around for CAF on April 4
March 9, 2017- The New York State Grand Lodge of OSIA (Order Sons of Italy in America) welcomes all to attend the Culinary Classico “Year 2017 Dine Around” to benefit Cooley’s Anemia Foundation. The event will take place on April 4 at Verdi’s Catering Hall of Westbury from 7-10pm. This fun-filled night features food, wine, and desserts from some of the finest Long Island restaurants, bakeries, and wineries. There will also be great music and raffles provided for your entertainment.
Mary Naccarato, who co-chairs this event with Mildred Mancusi, says, “The Cooley’s Anemia Foundation is OSIA’s number one charity, and the Dine Around is one of our most special fundraisers. Last year, 325 people attended, and the reason we come out in such great numbers is because the Dine Around represents an evening of camaraderie for lodge members and supporters. Last year, we collected $38,000 in that one evening, proving what a heart warming event it is and how much our members care about those living with thalassemia.” CAF thanks Mary Naccarato and Mildred Mancusi for all of their work organizing this event.
