Long Island Chapter Holds Golf Classic July 26
July 21, 2014 – Golfers, pack your clubs – the Long Island chapter of CAF is holding its 4th annual Oyster Bay Golf Classic on Saturday, July 26!
Tallgrass Country Club
This invigorating event has a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. (check-in at 12:00 noon), with cocktails and dinner at 6:00. The location: the beautiful Tallgrass Country Club, 24 Cooper Street in Shoreham, NY. (Tallgrass was designed by Gil Hanse, Golf Magazine’s 2009 Architect of the Year, and was named one of the top 10 “Best Courses” in the state of New York by GolfWeek.)
The fee of $150 includes cart rental, range balls, buffet dinner, and an open bar with bwiner, beer and soda, as well as dessert. Those wishing to come only for dinner may do so for $75.
