CAF’s 2017 Annual Gala on June 8
May 5, 2017- CAF is thrilled to host our 2017 Annual Gala on the evening of Thursday, June 8 at the stunning Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers in New York City. We will be honoring our 2017 Humanitarians of the Year, Dr. Michael Spino and Dr. Fernando Tricta. Drs. Spino and Tricta have made great contributions to the thalassemia community through research and development of medical treatments, as well as through patient education and empowerment intiatives. We will also be honoring our 2017 Young Leadership Award Recipient, Mr. Dino Philippo, who is a very successful NYC restauranteur who is thriving with thalassemia major.
We invite all to join us in honoring these very special members of the thalassemia community for an evening of wonderful food and great company, a silent auction of incredible items, and a majestic view of the beautiful Hudson River. The money raised from this event will be dedicated to patient support programs and to medical research.
